VITA 34 International AG wants to simplify the company structure

Leipzig, May 27, 2011 - Management board and supervisory board of VITA 34
International AG, parent company of the oldest private umbilical cord blood
bank in Europe, VITA 34 AG, will recommend to the general shareholders'
meeting to merge VITA 34 AG with VITA 34 International AG. This is intended
to simplify the company structure and to increase efficiency within the
group. The name of the merged organization is to be VITA 34 AG.
